  • Understanding of intergovernmental relations and co-operative governance; and
  • Negotiation skills.

 KRA / Duties:

  • Execute South African domestic and foreign policy priorities within the regional organisations under jurisdiction;
  • Execute specific projects in South Africa and abroad in support of Operation Phakisa;
  • Provide advice to the Departmental Executives on relations with and foreign policy direction in regional organisations under jurisdiction;
  • Manage internal and external stakeholder engagements
  • Manage the overall performance of the Directorate and participate in Corporate Governance
  • Provide operational management support and direction to the Directorate
