Department Of Human Settlements Supplier Database Forms

Invitation to Building Contractors to register on the Western Cape Government Department of Human Settlements’ Enhanced  Peoples Housing Process (EPHP) contractor database.

The purpose of the Enhanced  Peoples Housing Process (EPHP) contractor database is to give all prospective contactors a fair and equal opportunity to submit quotations for construction work that must be performed for the EPHP on behalf of the Western Cape Government Department of Human Settlements.



Submissions Requirements

  • All applications must be on the standard Western Cape Government Department of Human Settlements supplier registration application form template, which is also available on the ground floor at the Department of Human Settlements offices at 27 Wale Street Cape Town.
  • In order for contractors to be successfully registered on the EPHP database they need to have the Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB) grading of level 2 or higher, complete a registration form and submit proof of active registration on the following regulatory bodies:
    • Western Cape Supplier Database (WCSD)
    • Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB)
    • Companies and Intellectual Property Registration Office (CIPRO)
    • National Home Builders Registration Council (NHBRC)
  • Failure to submit the above documents will invalidate your application.

Please Note:



  • Interested contractors should submit their application forms in the tender box at the ground floor for attention of the EPHP contractor database Administrator (27 Wale Street, Cape Town, 8001) or alternatively post to Private Bag X9043, Cape Town, 8000.
  • Listing on the database does not guarantee an appointment for construction work, but rather an opportunity to be invited to quote or bid for construction work when the need arises.
  • No briefing sessions will be held.
