Department Of Human Settlements Bursaries 2015

A bursary is a monetary award made by an institution to individuals or groups of people who cannot afford to pay full fees. In return for the bursary, the individual is usually obligated to be employed at the institution for the duration of the bursary. According to The Good Schools Guide, a bursary is “usually for helping out the impoverished but deserving and those fallen on hard times”



DEPARTMENT OF HUMAN SETTLEMENTS BURSARIES

The Provincial Department of Human Settlements in KwaZulu-Natal invites applications from exceptionally performing matriculants and first year university students, between the ages of 18 and 35, who wish to further their studies in the broader housing-related fields in the 2013 academic year.

Bursaries will be awarded in the following fields of study:

• Architectural Studies

• Civil Engineering

• Project Management (Planning)

• Land Surveying

• Construction Management

• Quantity Surveying

• Environmental Studies and Land Surveying



Applications must be submitted on the prescribed Bursary Application Form which is obtainable from the Department of Human Settlements, Head Office, Regional Offices and the website on www.kzndhs.gov.za
