Department Of Social Development Call For Proposals, The purpose of this call for proposals is to identify potential service providers, technical editing, and merging of the Strategy for Statutory and National Guidelines to Child Headed Households under the Department of Social Development (DSD). The final product will be Consolidated Strategy and Guidelines on the Statutory Services to Child Headed Households.
Requirements:
- Degree in Social Sciences or other relevant qualifications with a maximum of 2 years of relevant professional experience involving document review and production;
- Previous experience on child related policies, legislation and programmes relating to orphans and vulerable children;
- Experience in reviewing, analysing and interpreting technical documents;
- Able to writeand edit documents for publication that conform to prescribed style and format;
- Well developed technical editing skills, preferably in social work / child law field, including excellent writing and grammar;
- Team member or subcontractor with professional editing experience, ability to edit for accuracy, brevity, clarity and consistency;
- Working knowledge of Micro Soft Packages;
- Acute attention to detail with a solid work ethic.
