South African Revenue Services Mafikeng

South African Revenue Services Mafikeng, SARS has introduced eDNA as a security measure in order to minimise the risk of fraudulent transactions as well as to safeguard taxpayer information. This entails that your fingerprints will be captured and authenticated when visiting a SARS branch for certain services.

The Mmabatho branch in the North-West province of the country lives up to its Setswana names aptly meaning “Mother of the People”. Always friendly and welcoming to taxpayers, staff at this branch can assist taxpayers in the local dialect of Setswana and are also fluent and adept in Northern Sotho (Sepedi).

Parking is available for taxpayers outside the branch premises, with additional parking and across the street from the branch at no fee. The branch is especially busy between 11h00 and 15h30 during Tax Season (1 July – 31 October). With a walking distance from a taxi rank and bus station, taxpayers commuting on public transport have easy access to the branch, and approximately 1 km from the branch, the Mega City shopping centre makes for trouble-free access to convenience stores and banks.
