Visa Requirements for South Africans
For members of official delegations, foreign officials who arrive in Ukraine on official invitations of Ukrainian authorities, visum, max. for 5 days, may be issued at Borispil Airport on arrival as an exception.
Immunisation against hepatitis A and hepatitis B is recommended for all Central European countries, including Ukraine.

Currency Info
Ukraine introduced its national currency, Hryvnia (UAH) in 1996 as a sole legal tender for all transactions (exchange rate USD1 = UAH1.7 as of the date of introduction). The exchange rate as of June 2002 is USD1 = UAH 5.34 (Hryvnia)
